I thought for sure this year the Colts were going to pull it off. I mean come on with the year that Payton Manning has been having I thought for sure they would at least be able to squeeze by New England. But No. Another disapointing loss at Foxboro. 20-3. Manning didn't even have a TD in yesterday's game. When are they ever going to win "The Big One" ? And I don't think that all the blame should be put on Manning. I mean from what I watched yesterday the whole team choked with fumbles and t...

It's been like weeks and days since I've last written, not that anyone has been complaining. I have been extremely busy with school finals and working full time....haven't had a lot of time to do the things that I like to do. I can't believe that it's already 2005! It seems like the year 2000 had just rolled around. When I look back and think about all the things that I have happened this past year, it just seems like it all flew by so fast. I'm not complaining though that the year is over ...

I was shocked when I came home the other day and my mom told me that there was a pregnant woman who died after someone cut her baby out of her. Lisa Montgomery was charged with killing expecting mother, Bobbie Jo Stinett. Montgomery came in contact with the Stinett through online chatting, and saw Stinett's picture online showing that she was pregnant. Apparantly Montgomery was expecting herself, which later turned out to be false. She traveled to Missouri and tracked down Stinett, killed her...

It's the most wonderful time of the year....we've waited all season.....the playoffs are here! Well, almost here. Finally, the regular season is coming to a close and the fight for the championship begins. The NFC East has been completely dominated by the Philidelphia Eagles. It's seems like no one has been able to shut down Donovan McNabb and his offense. While the AFC East has been dominated by the defending Super Bowl Champs, the New England Patriots. It's probably more than likely that t...

I was doing my bible study the other day and I found this verse that really touched my heart. "I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." (Pslam 27:13). NKJV. It made me think back to times when I have been so discouraged about things, when I was so depressed by the situation that I felt like there was no way it could get better. I would have given up unless I had believed. It's so comforting to know that the trials w...

I love this time of year when everyone is filled with holiday cheer. I love the Christmas lights, trees and holiday music, collection of ornaments and holly and all the other things that come along with the season. I especially love the weather. It's so crisp and refreshing. I only wished that it snowed here in Houston. Ever since I was little I always wanted to go out and play in the snow all day with my sled. When I lived in Austin it "snowed" once, actually it was all just ice. I can remem...

Thanksgiving. The special time of year when you stuff your face full for a whole day, watch football and nap. Along with the typical events that come with the holiday their are also family traditions that have been passed along from generation to generation. One of my family's tradtions is on Thanksgiving day for as long as I can remember, we have held a church-wide flag football Turkey Bowl. It has become on the biggest hypes and something that is anticipated for weeks. It's the game where ...

My younger brother Chris has been so graciously telling me lately that I am an idiot. Anymore he doesn't even bother to call me an idiot he just shakes his head and sighs. The other day my mom made out a list of things to get at Walmart. So I took Chris with me to help me out. First of all I went to the wrong Walmart. I went to the croweded, ghetto one instead of the nice, new one. We got inside and it was like Christmas time... times ten. It was so crowded. I've never felt so closter phobic ...

Annoying Things To Do On An Elevator 1) Crack open your briefcase or handbag, peer Inside and ask "Got enough air in there?" 2) Stand silent and motionless in the corner facing the wall without getting off. 3) When arriving at your floor, grunt and strain to yank the doors open, then act as if you're embarrassed when they open themselves. 4) Greet everyone with a warm handshake and ask him or her to call you Admiral. 5) Meow occasionally. 6) Stare at another passenger for a while....

Now if there's anyone who knows me they know that I absolutely hate feet. I'm not even too particuarly fond of my own feet. There's just something about the five- toed skiis or in some cases sausages, that digust me so much. I went tonight though for a "Girl's Night Out "with my Mom and Aunt, to get our pedicure's and manicures. My Aunt asked me if I wanted to get a pedicure done. I was hesitant to answer because 1.) I didn't want to have to spend money (I'm a tight wad with my money, my f...

My Bulldog, Moses, cracks me up. You wouldn't think that a lazy dog like him could have such a cute personality. Now I'm not exactly an animal fanatic, there are very few dogs that I like but this dog is such a character. He sleeps in my room every night. he waits on me to go to bed. He also brings me something like a shoe or bone or one of his toys everytime I come home from school or work, and shakes his body continually until I acknowledge him. He also won't go outside when it's raining, u...

The Boston Red Sox finally beat the curse and won their first World Series since 1918. Who would have thought that Boston would come back to win it all when they were down in the Yankee series three games to none? Who would have thought that the Red Sox would be able to sweep the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series and on top of that winning their last game with a shut out? This will be the first World Series in 5 years that a team has been able to sweep. The New York Yankees did it to th...
