Yesterday was a good day for Houston fans. Not only did the Texans win, but the Astros also won pushing them further towards that wild card playoff spot. Texans were trailing the Cheifs 7-6 going into the second half. At the start of the 3rd quarter Priest Holmes rushed for a 3 yrd touchdown to put the cheifs up 14-6. Then just when it looked like Kansas City had gained momentum Trent Green threw an INT to Marcus Colman for a 102 yrd td return. The Texans went for 2 and were tied 14-14 with the Cheifs. Going into the 4th texans were still tied but Green threw a td pass to Jason Dunn with 10:55 left to go in the game. Texans answered back with a 9 yrd td pass to Jabar Gaffney. Game tied again with 5:20 left to go. Texans hold the Cheifs for the next possesion and get the ball back to set up a 49 yrd field goal for Kris Brown. The kick was good and the texans won the game 24-21. Who would have thought that after Houston had fallen to 0-2 would go and win in Arrow Head Stadium against Priest Holmes and the Cheifs, who were also 0-2. Amazing. Can the Texans keep it up? Or is this just a won time thing?
