Tonight the Houston Astros closed the gap and beat the St. Louis Cardinals in a 6-5 win. After falling to a 0-2 start in the series, the Astros returned to Houston to show the Cardinals that they were not giving up with out a fight. Houston was the only team in the MLB to have a winning record against St. Louis this year. With the help of Roger Clemens in game three and clutch hitter Carlos Beltran in game 4 the Astros were able to prove that they are a contender for the World Series. Beltran scored 3 of the Astros 6 points and showed the Cardinals that the Astros mean business. But St. Louis still believes that they are going to be the ones who come out on top: "We don't look at the Houston Astros like this is a great team. They are good, but we a better than them. We are the best because we've got 108 wins. We've proved it." The game returns to St. Louis for game 5 of the NL championship series to see who goes the the World Series.
