I love this time of year when everyone is filled with holiday cheer. I love the Christmas lights, trees and holiday music, collection of ornaments and holly and all the other things that come along with the season. I especially love the weather. It's so crisp and refreshing. I only wished that it snowed here in Houston. Ever since I was little I always wanted to go out and play in the snow all day with my sled. When I lived in Austin it "snowed" once, actually it was all just ice. I can remember thinking that it was just a winter wonderland. I had never seen so much "snow" in all my life. I put on my gloves and hat and went outside to play with my brothers and their friends. We were only able to make one ice ball, and we thought it was the coolest thing ever. I had a lot of fun that Christmas. I'm not sure what compelled me to write about the weather....I guess because I hadn't written in so long it was just the first thing that bounced off in my mind, and maybe because I want it to snow so badly!
